The 12 different thematic laboratories in the M-Lab centre bring together different R&D fields and competences in an efficient collaboration between science and business. At the same time, the M-Lab focuses on developing and strengthening students’ practical skills to bring together and integrate R&D and study activities.
The main focus of the M-Lab’s research is on people – their health, well-being and the whole environment around them. Researchers from different M-Lab laboratories can collaborate with each other to test and validate solutions in real-life conditions, leading to value-added innovations in the fields of electronics, biomedical engineering, sustainable energy, chemistry, digital health technologies, telemedicine and more.
